Is it safe to use WinUndelete? Can it destroy data on disk? Yes. It is safe. WinUndelete performs read-only and non-destructive operation on your source disk during scan. It does NOT change/move/delete the deleted files. But please note, OS considers deleted files as just free space on the drive. Microsoft Windows and other applications may write temporary data frequently to hard drive, which may cause the overwriting quickly in some cases. So if you have found your desired files, recover or save them as soon as possible. Please download and install the program to a different drive than the drive where the deleted or lost data resides.
